Dr.Carter Andrews
Dr. Carter Andrews has spent most of his life here in Idaho and he is grateful to be able to raise his own family here as well. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Brigham Young University and his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing his clinical residency at Washington State University. Very happy to be done with school, he has worked at Bench Animal Hospital since 2002. Dr. Andrews became the proud proprietor of the clinic in 2013. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Dog. (Just kidding about the Dog, but he's working on it.) A dedicated father and an avid sportsman, he enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, rafting, and every outdoor activity possible in the state of Idaho.

Dr.Rebekah Davis
Dr. Rebekah Davis was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. After earning a double major from Boise State University, she went on to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following Veterinary school, she returned back to Boise where she has been practicing at Bench Animal Hospital ever since. Her love of animals drives her to stay progressive and be able to offer the most up to date and compassionate care for your fury family members. Her greatest passion is to be able to provide loving care for animals. She has a strong interest in surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry. During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband who is also a Veterinarian. She loves her newest job title of “mom” to their daughter, Brinley. They have one loveable and quirky rescue dog named Carbon.

Laurie Wendt-Marshall
My name is Laurie Wendt-Marshall. I have been working here at Bench since 1980. I am a licensed Veterinary Technician and Office Manager.I am living my dream. I have always wanted to work with animals. I also enjoy sewing, reading, and fishing.I moved to Weiser 14 years ago, but I continue to drive to Boise because I love my work and the people I interact with on a daily basis.

April Torrey
I'm April Torrey. I graduated in 2007 with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology, and Animal Science and Equine Studies from the College of Southern Idaho. I live in Meridian with my beautiful daughter Aynsley and my loving husband Josh. Pemuke and Lola are our two cats, Madeline is our yellow lab, and I own two excellent horses, Ayala and Pandora. I enjoy horseback riding, being in the outdoors, and spending time with my family.

McKenna Smith
Hi, my name is McKenna Smith. I am a trained veterinary technician and a part-time receptionist. I have worked at Bench a little over 2 years. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Boise State in May of 2016. I am currently attending University of Florida’s online Master’s program in Veterinary Medical Sciences, with an emphasis in Veterinary Forensic Medicine. This summer I applied to 4 veterinary schools – Washington State University, Midwestern University, Oregon State University, and University of Illinois and am patiently awaiting any responses.

Bernadette Martinez
Hello! My name is Bernadette. I’ve been in the animal field for 4 years. I started at a dog daycare/training facility and now I am at my dream job working at a vet clinic! I have 2 dogs a German Shepherd (Hachi) and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Harry). In my free time I love spending time with my husband and family, movie nights, gardening, and snuggling with my pups reading a good book.
