_Race Information________________________
- Saturday, March 27th
- Eagle Island State Park Map
- Start times: 10:00 for runners only. 10:20 for runners with their dogs
- Both races start from the sand volley ball pits East of the water park.
___Packet Pick-up_________________________
- Packet pick-up will start at 08:30 at the covered shelter East of the Water Park at Eagle Island State Park. Racing packets will include your long-sleeved shirt, bandanna (for dog runners), your racing number "pick-up after your dog" garbage bag, and a map of the course.
- Day of the event registration will close at 09:45 on March 27th and can be done at the covered shelter East of the Water Park at Eagle Island State Park.
___Course Description________________________
- The course is a standard 5K race following the perimeter of the South and East aspects of Eagle Island State Park. The course is flat with minimal elevation gains or losses. This is a cross-country course and you can expect to get a little muddy. There are occasional puddles of water in the trail that will need to be avoided. How much water will be weather dependent! There will be water available at each mile for runners and their dogs.

- $17 Preregistration for runners only. (Shirt for runners)
- $20 Preregistration for runners and dogs. (Shirt for runners and bandanna for dogs)
- $25 Late registration (day of the event) closes 09:30 March 27th (Shirt for runners and bandanna for dogs).

- All procedes will be donated to the Western English Setter Rescue Organization
- Please keep the vehicles to one/contestant.
__Awards_________________________________
- Awards will be handed out to the top five overall male, female and canine finishers. Additional awards will be handed out to all contestants who "beat the doc" to the finish line according to age group. See below:
Men Women
- 0-20 under 17:29 under 18:29
- 20-30 under 18:00 under 20:00
- >30, just beat the "doc"...The doc is out of practice!
- Shirts and bandannas will be handed out in the packets at pick-up if available at that time.
- Prizes will be awarded at the awards ceremony after the races are finished.
- All races are non-refundable and non-transferable.
