DSC02235.JPG Dr. Stephen Hunt - I graduated from Colorado State University and received my Veterinary License in 1972.  I am from Idaho, but did practice in California for a short time after graduation.  After I moved back to Idaho, I started working at Bench Animal Hospital and later purchased the practice.  I have always enjoyed doing orthopedic surgery.  In my time off, I enjoy fishing, riding horses, and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

DSC02247.JPGDr Chad Hunt received his DVM at Washington State University in 2008.  To pursue his love for high quality medicine Dr. Hunt completed a year-long internship under the tutelage of boarded specialists in areas of surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and physical therapy at WestVet.  With a special interest in ophthalmology, Dr. Hunt pursued greater educational opportunities with ophthalmologists from OR, IL, and ID before coming to Bench Animal Hospital in 2009.  Dr. Hunt hopes to continue his other interests in internal medicine, dermatology, and orthopedic surgery while working with Drs. Stephen Hunt and Andrews.  Local of Boise, Dr. Hunt lives as a soon-to-be father with his veterinary wife, cat, andhorse, fully enjoying Idaho's great outdoors with hunting, fishing, running, and skiing.

My name is Laurie Wendt-Marshall.  I have been working here at Bench since 1980.  I am a licensed Veterinary Technician and Office Manager.
I am living my dream.  I have always wanted to work with animals.  I also enjoy sewing, reading, and fishing.
I moved to Weiser 14 years ago, but I continue to drive to Boise because I love my work and the people I interact with on a daily basis.

DSC02243.JPGChris Schafer - Over the last 30 years I have had the pleasure to work at a variety of animal hospitals, in both Idaho and California.  Bench Animal Hospital is the most professional place I have been, and it has a very knowledgeable staff.  Two years ago a client offered me a six week old toy poodle with a very crooked leg.  With the expertise of Dr. Andrews, along with tongue depressers and lots of tape, we managed to straighten his leg so it is functional.  The dog's names is Hercules, but he is better known to the squirrels in Meridian as "the Flash."  Thank you, Dr. Andrews, Hercules is a great buddy.

DSC02229.JPGMy name is Brianna and I have worked with the staff, clients and patients of Bench Animal Hospital for ten months now.  I am currently going to school to be a certified veterinary technician and absolutely love my job!  I figured out that I wanted to work with animals while I was in high school and I have since realized how important I can be in their recovery as well as their lives.  I look forward to meeting more clients and their beloved pets, as well as furthering my education in this field of work.
